Being away from home has caused me to be placed in a group chat with my closest friends. I'm even in some group chats with friends at school. Within these chats, I have noticed a trend with the personalities of certain people. Here are some of these personalities I have found. Also, if you find that you fit one of these, please don't change because you're perfect just the way you are.
1. The Opinionated One
This friend seems to have an opinion on anything that is brought up in the chat. From politics to movies, this friend always has to get their word in if they like a topic or not. Although they can be annoying at times, their opinions are still respected.
2. The Quiet One
This is the friend that you sometimes forget is in your group chat. They contribute at random times with the most random things, or in my case, they send Kimojis after we are talking about a completely different subject. Although they rarely reply, you don't want them to be taken out of the chat because when they do reply, you remember why they are in the chat.
3. The Chatty Cathy
On the other hand, this person always seems to be replying as fast as they can. They can find a thing to talk about in every situation and can blab on for hours. Sometimes it gets annoying, but you still love them anyways
4. The Mom
This person always makes sure that the rest of your chat is okay after they go out. You can always count on them to make you feel better and make sure you get home safe.
5. The Storyteller
This person always has a story to tell about some crazy experience they've had or a funny joke they heard the other day. Either way, when they text in the group, you know you'll always have a laugh.
6. The Advisor
This is the person you turn to when you need good advice. They always know the right thing to say and they really help you with your problems. This person is great in every situation.
7. The Fashionista
This person always has a good sense of fashion. They're always down to give recommendations on the latest trends or you could send them a picture of your outfit and they will tell you how you should accessorize and they're always down to go to the mall.
8. The Social Media User
This person always keeps you updated with the newest memes, tweets, and news straight from their social media apps. From "Damn Daniel" to the newest Kardashian snapchats, you'll hear about them all. You also don't know if they ever put their phone down because they update you constantly.
