Eight Trends for Your Hottest Spring Break Yet

1. Triangl Bikini
Now who could resist that neon pop of color against your tan beach bod? These suits first became a hit in Australia and since then have blown up all around the world.

2. Crochet shorts
These are perfect for when you’re short on time and you’re friends are about to leave without you in order to get chairs facing the sun (obviously a priority). Simply toss these on over your suit and you’ve got yourself a killer beach look.

3. Strappy Sandals
Whether you’re taking a shopping day with some girls or grabbing lunch (and a strawberry daiquiri) on the veranda, these simple sandals will be a staple in your spring break wardrobe.

4. Kimono Cover-up
Of course we would love it if every day of spring break were 85 degrees and sunny, but unfortunately this isn’t always the case. Kimonos are perfect for when it’s a little chilly on the beach and you aren’t willing to let your style suffer.

5. Boho maxi

So you get back from a long, hot day of laying out and your sunburnt back feels like its on fire and your nose is peeling a little. Don't fret, you have an adorable and breezy maxi dress to wear to dinner that won't irritate your sun burnt skin.

6. Round sunglasses
Don’t try and talk yourself out of these trendy sunglasses because you think you can’t pull them off. You can rock them, pinky promise! They are fabulous, springy and you may or may not be mistaken as a celebrity. Ugh, the paparazzi are so stalker-ish sometimes.

7. Breezy cover-up
This cover-up will become your best friend on spring break. You should probably just wear it everyday. This cover-up is simple, so don’t be afraid to accessorize. Complete the look with a floppy sun hat and shades.

8. Colorful canvas tote
No need to pack lightly with this beach bag. Toss some gossip mags, sunscreen and snacks into this nautical tote.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
