Life can be hectic for all types of people: moms, dads, males, females, students, professionals-everyone. If one detail is out of place, it creates a Jenga effect. Here are a few tips to keep the blocks together:

1. Go through a checklist every night for the next day.

Go over what you are doing and what you will need the next day. Pack any physical items you will need and take the time to prepare yourself mentally if need be. This way you won't be scrambling around in the morning.

2. Cook your meals in bulk ahead of time.

Especially breakfast. Doing this all at once on the weekend will free up so much time for you during the week.

3. Make to-do lists.

This is especially helpful if you're overwhelmed with tasks. Just write or type it all out and take on one task at a time. Organizing chaotic thoughts makes you much more productive.

4. Set an alarm just in case.

Is there something you need to do later? Are you so busy that you might potentially forget? Set an alarm just in case, they never fail!

5. Get your work done early.

The longer you wait, the less time you have to get things done. If you can, always complete tasks sooner rather than later.

6. Keep things organized.

Keeping all of your surroundings and bags organized will help if you're constantly busy. Organize everything ahead of time so that you will have easier access to whatever you need during the week.

7. Prioritize.

This is one of the most useful tools of them all. Decide and know what you need to get done first and what will be okay if left alone for a while.

8. Breathe.

It's always good to just stop and breathe. Deep breathing gives you clarity of mind as well as other benefits that can aid you in the midst of your fast paced life. Just breathe and take it one leap at a time.
