8 Times You Wanted To Be Maddie Ziegler

Admit it, you're jealous of the "Dance Moms" star.

8 Times You Wanted To Be Maddie Ziegler

I'm totally obsessed with the Lifetime show "Dance Moms." It follows Abbey Lee Miller's elite competition team as they train for and win dance competitions across the country. My favorite dancer, like Ms. Abby, is Maddie Ziegler. I'm not going to pretend to know anything about dance, because I don't, but I do know that Maddie is amazing. Not only does she rarely lose in competition, she's also doing amazing things off the stage too, like starring in a movie to premiere later this year. Now, I get that it's a little ridiculous to be jealous of a 13 year old dancer from Pittsburgh, but here are eight times we just couldn't help but want to be Maddie.

1. When she starred in Sia's music video for "Chandelier"

Sia reached out to Maddie after seeing her on "Dance Moms."

2. Then she walked the red carpet at the Grammy's with Sia.

Maddie entered the award show dressed as Sia's mini me.

3. And later performed at the show with Kristen Wiig.

This was something that I didn't even know I needed.

4. When Maddie and Shia LaBeouf starred in Sia's "Elastic Heart" video.

Was this weird? Yes. Did I watch it repeatedly? Also yes.

5. She walked the Ralph Lauren Polo runway.

What other 13 year olds have walked in a runway?

6. She danced with the Rockettes.

Watch this adorable video of Maddie learning one of their dance routines.

7. This Seventeen Magazine shoot.

I'm actually obsessed with this ballerina look.

8. And literally any time she steps on stage.

How does she keep spinning like that?

"Dance Moms" won't be the same after Maddie leaves at the end of this season. But I'm sure we'll see her putting her crazy amount of talent to work in whatever she does next.

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving has become an underrated holiday over the years. You barely see any Thanksgiving decorations in stores; it's like they skip right from Halloween to Christmas.

Some universities only get two or three days off for Thanksgiving break. Or, if your university is like mine, you get the whole week off go go home. A whole week off is a long time. I'm not complaining, because I'd rather have a whole week off than three days, but there is a lot of down time. Here are some ideas as to what you can do to get the most out of your Thanksgiving break.

It's that time of year again- Thanksgiving Break is finally approaching. For college students everywhere, Thanksgiving is a time to relax and not really worry about homework (well, depending on what major you're in).
