8 Times Obama Was The Coolest President

There are a lot of times he was cooler than a cucumber, but let's just talk about these 8 for now.

I know not everyone agrees with Obama's thoughts and decisions he made when it comes to him being President, but let's be real here—Obama is the coolest President to date. From singing "Let's Stay Together" at The Apollo Theater to dropping the mic at the end of the White House Correspondents' dinner speech, here are just a few of the many amazingly cool moments from Mr. President.

1. Luther

At the 2015 White House Correspondents' Dinner, Obama brought up his anger translator, Luther, played by Keegan-Michael Key. While Obama addresses the nation as he usually does, Luther is behind him interjecting with Obamas inner angry thoughts. Towards the end of the speech, Obama begins speaking his inner angry thoughts himself, to which Luther has to calm him down.

2. Slow Jams With Jimmy Fallon

On "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon," Jimmy and Obama take turns dictating news and accomplishments Obama has made in the span of his eight years in office in the style of a slow jam.

3. "Between Two Ferns"

"Between Two Ferns" is a collection of videos with Zach Galifianakis asking celebrities about upcoming projects they have going on. The show usually results in the celebrities acting sassy and sometimes a bit standoffish. When Obama was on the show, he gave plenty of cheeky one liners.

4. When He Sang "Let's Stay Together"

Obama showed off his vocal skills during a fundraiser in New York by singing Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" during a speech.

5. Friendship Bracelet

Obama made a friendship bracelet for Vice President Joe Biden. This may be seen as more adorable than cool, but it definitely deserves a spot on this list.

6. "Obama Out."

At the 2016 White House Correspondents' Dinner, Obama had so many jokes up his sleeve that deserve to be on this list but to sum up, let's just acknowledge his amazing closing line that was followed by a mic drop. "Obama out."

7. State Of The Union Speech

During his 2015 State of the Union speech, Obama said one of the most famous Obama lines know the internet. It stirred up countless memes and was the talk of twitter and tumblr for months: "I have no more campaigns to run...I know 'cause I won both of them."

8. "Mr. President, Don't Touch My Girlfriend Now."

While doing some early voting at the polls in Chicago, Obama was greeted by a remark from young man who said, "Mr. President, don't touch my girlfriend now," to which Obama responded with a quick, "You know, I really wasn't planning on it." He then starts up a conversation with the girlfriend. "You'll be going back home talking to your friends about this saying 'I can't believe Mike! He is such a fool.'" As he leaves, he gives the girl a kiss on the cheek and says, "Give him something to talk about."

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
