8 Times The Contestants On "The Bachelor" Reacted in Ways That Describe Everyday College Life

"The Bachelor" contestants – they are beautiful, charming and down right out of this world. These young women are chosen from all over to compete for the hearts of the most handsome men in the history of humanity. Sometimes it's hard to remember that they are people, just like you and me. These are the past and present contestants, whose reactions don't stray too far from how we react in our everyday lives.

When you have an 8 a.m. class or an early call time at work

Just like us, these women get tired. Whether it's waiting for a rose or waiting for a lunch break, sometimes all we want is a nap.

When your professor asks you to turn an assignment you don't remember him assigning

Wait what? The feeling of surprise and sheer terror hits bachelor contestants and students alike. It's inevitable.

When you hear another girl talking about your crush

We all have these moments, but unlike these women, we don't know beforehand that we're dating the same man.

When he tries to talk to you about it

Nope. Men are full of excuses, and sometimes you have to pucker your lips and turn your cheek. Both us and "The Bachelor" women can agree on this.

When the weekend finally hits

Whether you are trying to make a memorable first impression like this woman or just trying to have a good time, the excitement is real. You are going to have a great time and dammit, so is everyone else.

When the hangover hits

Nights don't always go as planned, or sometimes they do and it's the mornings that are rough. Either way, it's nothing brunch can't fix.

When someone asks about your plans for the future

It's all fun and games until someone asks the hard questions. One moment you're having a casual conversation, and the next moment someone drops the "What are you doing with your life?" card. Not cool.

When you finally feel comfortable enough to be 100% be yourself

Sometimes it's hard to stay true to yourself, especially when you're constantly meeting new people and wanting them to like you. But, you have to remember that the most important person in the world is YOU, and that should never be forgotten.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
