The superstar with the scalpel: Dr. Calliope Iphegenia Torres. For years, Sara Ramirez charmed audiences with her portrayal of the headstrong and badass orthopedic surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, so understandably, her departure from the hit medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" came as a disappointment. Nevertheless, Dr. Torres will be remembered for a plethora of reasons - and rightfully so.

1. The time she danced like no one was watching.

2. The time she accepted her sexuality like a total boss.

3. The time she stood up for herself, even if it meant confronting her very own homophobic father.

4. The time she pulled an entire musical episode on her sturdy shoulders.

5. The time she defined love in one sentence, and stuck to her promise.

6. The time she knew what she was capable of, and didn't give a damn about what others thought.

7. The time she explained the struggle of being single.

8. And finally, the time she took to her Latina roots to express her frustration, because sometimes English just isn't good enough.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
