If you were a kid growing up in the 2000s, your childhood was made up of films from the popular kids channels such as the Disney Channel. There are obviously the most well known ones such as High School Musical and Camp Rock which are extremely memorable. There are also some movies that are under appreciated and probably forgotten. Here are the top 8 movies
Lemonade Mouth
A group of misunderstood teens who didn't know each other until they met in detention. They suddenly become the biggest band of not only their school or town but of the world. This is also my favorite DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie).
Radio Rebel

Radio Rebel was definitely not the best DCOM but it certainly has an interesting concept about a girl who is invisible in her high school by day but she is a huge radio personality in the comfort of her own home.
Geek Charming
GiphyPopular girl who has the perfect life meets nerdy film-nerd kid and they grow from being strangers to being lovers. All while trying to expose the ugliness of popularity.
Let It Shine
WikipediaLet It Shine is one of the best movies to come from Disney because it has so much character development in all of its major characters. They all have depth and all have a story that is not only complex but interesting and inspiring. Plus it has some major bops.
The Cheetah Girls
Cheetah-licious! These 4 divas are the girl group of the century. With amazing style to poetic lyrics, the Cheetahs are a great representation of sisterhood, diversity, and feminism.
Minutemen
The plot to this one is a bit strange as these high school boys can time warp and change the past all thanks to a machine. Very unrealistic but still a fun movie to look back on.
Starstruck
America's teen heartthrob falls in love with a normal small town girl. It takes time for her to reciprocate the feelings as she is not blind sided by the fame, unlike other girls (including her insane sister!).
Den Brother
Do the Girl Scouts love this movie? Probably but it is almost always forgotten in pop culture. Who doesn't love those cookies?
While you might have remembered one or two films on this list, I hope this sparks your interest into rewatching this movies as a good #TBT moment.
