  1. I won’t be ready in time. Between getting your hair and makeup done and out the door, you should have started getting ready hours ago.
  2. I have so much to do. No matter what, there’s still something you’ll forget to do.
  3. Will there even be any cute boys? As if some new, Zac Efron-esque boy transferred in since school on Friday.
  4. I should’ve gone with the other dress/shoes. The last minute doubts about your outfit never fail to pop up when it’s already too late.
  5. I’m gonna be so late. Five hours to actually put yourself together clearly isn’t enough time.
  6. Will this even be fun? We’ve all seen the gym before, will a DJ and some nice decorations really make much of a difference?
  7. At least I get to get all dressed up. At the very least, this is an excuse to get all dolled up and see everyone looking nice and pretty on a Saturday night.
  8. I guess I’m excited. No matter how you feel before the actual dance, when you and all your friends finally get to the meeting spot for pictures, and remember how much fun you’ve had in past years, you’ll get pretty excited for the night and all that’s to come.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
