My friends know it is best not to expect a lot from me without my coffee. Coffee is in the top ten of my favorite things and is absolutely wonderful. And since I know that many people can relate to my love for coffee here are 8 thoughts people who love coffee have thought before.

1. How much coffee is too much coffee?

When you have a little too much energy and your friends are threatening to take away the K-cups for your Keurig.

2. You can never have too many coffee cups.

Hi, my name is Courtney and I have a lot of coffee cups. Some would say to many and I have been told that I don't need that many cups. But to be honest you can never have too many coffee cups.

3. If I have not had coffee yet, don't talk me.

My roommate from last year can attest to this, along with my parents. If I have not had my coffee yet don't expect me to talk much, or to be that cheery.

4. It's cold outside, that's another excuse to drink more coffee right?

When it starts to get cold outside a hot cup of coffee suddenly serves as not only a pick me up but also as an instant hand warmer. So that must mean I should drink more coffee in winter right?

5. No Coffee means a slower day.

A day without coffee just seems to go slower and by the time lunch time rolls around you are needing a nap and probably have a headache. All around not a great day.

6. National Coffee Day is the best day!

September 29th, a wonderful day for coffee lovers everywhere. Especially when there is at least one place near by giving out free coffee.

7. It is never too early or too late for coffee.

Whether the reasoning is because it's morning, or it's cold out, or because it's 10 o'clock at night and you have a paper due the next day that isn't finished yet, it's always coffee time.

8. Coffee=Happiness

Coffee on some days is the key to happiness, it's the little things in life.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
