Some road trips are with your family to visit family, some are family vacations, and then there's the kind you take over the summer with all your best friends piled in the back of a car to go cliff jumping. No matter your style, if you take more road trips than you can count... this is for you

1. You can fall asleep by the time you reach the highway

Same kid...same

2. The wide open highway is kinda cool!

3. There's an app to find everything you’ll need along the way

4. Pack some food- especially something healthy

You’ll find plenty of junk food along the way! Bring the healthy stuff- you need it to keep you going!

5. The right playlist is key

From tapes to playlists, audio books to hip-hop, the right mix can make or break a trip

6. A road trip can be just for a day or for weeks...

7. Every area has must do road trips that you do practically every summer... sometimes even twice.

Make friends who have a lake house... trust me!

8. Rolling>Folding

9. A clean car makes all the difference

You’ll regret not doing it when you phone is covered in something weird 200 miles into open highway, trust me!

10. Games are your best friend!

Mad-Libs, the license plate game, yellow car ... trust me it helps!

11. Pictures are a must!

'Cause “pics or it didn't happen”... right?
