Oh, the joys of your sophomore year. You're no longer experiencing the firsts of freshman year and you're probably not in your upper-level courses yet. Being a sophomore is like being stuck in a less eventful version of your freshman year. Being a current sophomore, are some things I've asked myself this year.

1. Is college really worth all the stress and hassle?

Seriously, is it? Like why is finals week so terrible? My whole life doesn't depend on these silly tests. My GPA doesn't define my character or my heart. People won't look down on me as a human because I don't have a 4.0. C's get degrees, right?

2. Why is freshman year over?

I just want to go back to the year of experiencing college for the first time. Now I'm just stuck in an annoying rerun season. I feel like a 3 a.m. rerun of Friends, my life is eventful but I've seen it all before. Now I'm just eager to get out of college and see what real life is like.

3. How can I get more money?

Debt is a real thing, and now that I'm in my second year of accumulating it, I try and find ways to refresh my bank account. This includes selling stuff online using Poshmark and Mercari. Why is college so expensive?!?

4. Where are all my friends at?

All the people I was hanging out with this time last year just seem to be...gone. Some went off to get married, some dropped out because they were called to do something else, and others just disappeared somewhere on campus. Friends come and go, but at least I know that the ones I've made this year will last a lifetime.

5. How much coffee can I actually drink in one day?

Is there a limit? Can you consume too much coffee? Can my body function on just caffeine? Can my wallet handle all this money I'm spending on coffee? (probably not). Oh well...I'm going to try anyway.

6. When did checking my email become so important?

It went from checking my email once a week to three times an hour. When did this become so important? Why do I get so much spam? When will my professor check their email and actually email me back?

7. Why is staring at my wall so entertaining?

At this point in my life, homework and studying are less amusing than just looking at my wall. General Education classes are a drag and quite frankly dry.

8. How many times do I have to attend class a week to pass?

I know that none of my classes start before 11 in the morning, but it's still so hard to be motivated. If attendance is worth 15% of my grade... the highest I can get is an 85%. Which means I have to go to half the classes to make up for failed tests and assignments. Right? But seriously...don't skip class...it's like wasting money.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
