8 Things I Wish I Would've Known My Freshman Year

1. It's okay to go home.

Sometimes you've got to go home and let your mom do your laundry and sleep in your own bed.

2. It's okay to make C's.

College is a whole new ball game.

3. It's not the end of the world if you drop/audit.

People do this all the time, it isn't going to be the end of everything.

4. Get involved ASAP.

Join as many clubs or groups as you can. The more you're involved the easier it will be to make friends and make college a home away from home.

5. Make new friends and keep the old ones.

Even when you make new friends at college, don't forget about the ones that have been there for you since day 1.

6. If you fail a test, it's OKAY.

Everyone isn't perfect and it won't be the end of the world if you fail one test.

7. Take risks.

Do things that you wouldn't normally do. Just don't forget to have fun and enjoy college.

8. Time Management is your friend.

If I hadn't figured out how to manage my time I'm sure I'd be super lost and probably sitting in a corner.
