Warning; Spoilers ahead!

Everyone has those TV shows that just get you every time. I know I'm completely guilty of spending hours in bed binge watching. Most recently though I finished Lost and as I'm sitting in bed crying my dad just casually walks in and asks to use my computer.

"What's wrong?" he asked me. "Lost, that's whats wrong." and in that moment I realized this was not the first time this had happened. So, I've decided to make a list of all the times TV (and some movies) have made me cry my eyes out.

1. The Lost finale

That moment when you realized they were dead. Suddenly you were questioning everything but you knew one thing for sure, you could not stop crying. What really got me was the fact that they found themselves when they needed each other most.

2. That moment Derek died in Greys Anatomy.

Ok Meredith you may be fine but I WON'T. McDreamy is McDead and I'm not McFine.

3. The Fox and the Hound ending.

I have a very distinct memory of me being 8 years old watching this and just walking into my moms room after with tears just streaming down my face. The mere thought of this movie makes me want to cry.

4. Hachi (the whole movie)

Anything with animals makes me cry but this was just a whole other level. This dog waits for his owner at the train station every day (even after the owner dies) until he finally dies himself. If that's not true love then I don't know what is.

5. The Friends Finale

Friends is a classic TV show that I believe everyone should have the pleasure of watching. On the other hand, this ending hit me hard. My thoughts were "NO don't leave the house!! Don't end!!!"

6. When Amy can't live without Rory in Doctor Who so she goes back in time.

UGH the fact that she risked going back to the wrong time and NEVER being able to see Rory again just for the chance of seeing him one more time. YES GIRL FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS, FIND YOUR MAN.

7. The Notebook

This one is a given. My friends actually made fun of me for a while because at a sleepover while they were all sleeping I woke them up with my loud sobbing. "They love each other so much" is what I said that started the waterworks. Even the book makes me cry my eyes out.

8. Free Willy

Watching this as a kid I actually got so sad my mom had to go out and buy me a book about Orcas so that I would stop crying. I was so concerned that Willy wouldn't be okay by himself in the ocean.

There you have it, 8 times movies/TV made me cry. If you ever need a good cry I suggest watching one of these.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
