Unless you want to pay way more than you should for a broadway ticket (I regret nothing), chances are you haven't seen Hamilton yet. If you're like me and have an unhealthy obsession with the founding father without a father, you most likely enter the hamilton lottery every day hoping for a chance to see the musical for ten dollars. Here are some emotions you probably feel when entering the lottery.
1. Determination
I am not throwing away my shot to see hamilton! I am determined I will win these tickets!
2. Frustration
I.....I wanna be in the room where it happens....SO WHY ARE THERE SO MANY PICTURES OF TREES TO VERIFY TO PROVE I'M NOT A ROBOT!?
3. Anxiety
Okay now I got the email...Maybe today will be my day.... What if Lin went to see the show and I was sitting right next to him!? what would I say!?
4.Impatience
Okay I know it's only three and the lottery doesn't close until 4, but what if they chose the winners early and I miss out!? I'll check my email just one more time....Nope nothing.
5. The moment of truth
Okay it's 4 o' clock....Do I check the actual lottery page or do I wait for the email...Okay i'll wait for the email.....but what if the email doesn't come until 4:59 and I don't do it fast enough!?
6. Disappointment
Well I didn't win today......
7. Resentment
I wonder what lucky person is sitting front row living out my dream. Do they even know how lucky they are!? Do they know every word to satisfied!?
8. Determination
Tomorrow is my day! I will win the hamilton lottery!
It all comes back to a full circle! even though you might not win those tickets today, you're sure you'll win it tomorrow! Plus theres almost the filmed version with the original cast right?
