To every girl in a sorority, bid day is without a doubt the best day of the year. Whatever stress that you had about school is temporarily nonexistent because the moment you see the new members of your sisterhood you are instantly excited and filled with happiness. Here are a few things that I, along with many other members, have experienced on this special day.

1. Your feet hurt from wearing heels for a week straight.

But you couldn’t care less because it’s the best day of the year.

2. You have the perfect outfit to go with the theme.

And you’ve spent more time planning it out than doing homework this week.

3. Your throat hurts from chanting and happy screaming.

And it was definitely worth it.

4. The sun shines.

No matter what weather you may have had the week prior, the weather for bid day always turns out.

5. You play plenty of get-to-know-you games.

Because you just gained a whole new pledge class so why not.

6. You take plenty of insta-worthy pictures.

And you had your caption picked out days in advance.

7. Dancing.

And lots of it. Especially while getting ready with your roommate(s) and hanging decorations.

8. You can’t remember the last time you were that excited.

And you’re already counting down the days until the next bid day.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
