Majority of people who have lived in Springfield their whole lives, have at one point said, “Springfield is so boring, there’s nothing to do.” Though it may not be the most exciting city to live in at times, there are definitely things that can be done to spice it up a little! Here are some summer activities for you and your Springfield friends to partake in this summer!

1. Grab a few blankets, friends, and snacks and go to Centennial hill at nighttime and stargaze.

2. Find a cool spot by the Springfield Lake and have a lake party with your friends!

3. Take a walk in downtown Springfield and grab some coldstone.

4. Fill the back of a truck up with some blankets and go to the drive in.

5. Go to Lake Springfield Marina and go paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, etc.

6. Go on late night drives on the country roads.

7. Sneak into the crown plaza pool.

8. Go bridge jumping.

Living in Springfield may not be the most luxurious place, but you can definitely still have fun!
