Thanksgiving

1. Seeing your family.

After a long semester, there's nothing more exciting than realizing that you'll actually be able to hug your mom. Make sure to hold tight though; it'll have to get you through the rest of the semester, exam week included.

2. Seeing your dog.

Who doesn't love puppy cuddles?

3. Free laundry.

Need I say more?

4. Free food.

As your budget for the semester declines, so does the amount of times you go out to eat. When you're home for break, all your food is free.

5. Good food.

But more importantly, it's free good food. (Shout out to Grandma's green bean casserole! I'm looking forward to consuming every inch of it).

6. Leftovers

I don't know what it is, but college students are seemingly obsessed with food. Maybe it's because we've been living off of ramen and the caf's mystery meat for the past ten weeks. In comparison to what we've been eating, Thanksgiving leftovers are a God-sent. Especially when you have them cold for breakfast.

7. Black Friday sales.

The stereotype of college kids being broke goes a long way, especially when it's true, but Black Friday sales are always a great excuse to splurge. I mean, come on, who could pass up 70% off?!

8. It's a much needed break.

By the end of Thanksgiving break our tummies are stuffed and our bodies are relaxed. That is until we realize how much work we were supposed to do.

Happy Turkey Day, everyone! Enjoy your break and don't forget to be thankful!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
