Social media creeping. We all do it. Sometimes it's for a good reason, but sometimes it's just because you want to see what your cousin's girlfriend's sister's best friend wore to her kindergarten graduation. Which is creepy. But it's cool because we've all been there. And we've all struggled at some point. So social media creeps, unite.
1. Almost accidentally calling a distant acquaintance by their Instagram name.
Oh hey, Sarah underscore 95 oh noooo....
2. Almost liking a photo from 106 weeks ago.
3. Or even worse, when you're 106 weeks deep and you accidentally go back to the home page.
Now I have to go all the way back, seriously?
4. Having to remind yourself not to reveal how much you really know about someone.
5. But then knowing everything about them the first time you meet them and having to pretend like you don't.
Oh, your mom's a registered nurse and you're a black belt in karate? I had no idea.
6. Every time your friend sends you a screenshot of something, you've probably already seen it.
Saw it two hours before you, man. Do I have a problem, you ask? Probably. But I'd rather not talk about it.
7. Having a whole slew of secret information stored up about someone but you can't bring it up without looking like a stalker.
Just save us both the trouble and admit you know. You know you know.
8. Usually never bringing any of that stuff up in the first place because they'll know you were creeping.
Be creepy, but be creepy on the down low. It's the best way to go.
