Summer is upon us and that means everyone is freaking out about their tans. Being as fair skinned as you are, you aren't participating. Here are 8 things you know if you're pale and proud!
1. You save so much money on spray tans.
In fact, you save 100% on spray tans because you don’t get them! While everyone is freaking out that they need to get tan for that big event coming up, you’re chillaxing (in the shade).
2. You wear whites, nudes, and pinks even though society tells you not to.
Who made these rules that if your skin is a certain color you’re restricted to one section of the color wheel? I’m gonna wear a white shirt, and you’re gonna do a double take thinking I’m topless, and we’re all just gonna go about our days.
3. You save so much time at makeup stores.
Easy, you just go immediately to the lightest shade of everything and call it a day. While your friends are doing color swatches of God knows what and comparing shades to their skin, you’re already checked out and ready for the next store.
4. No one ever tries to steal your sunscreen or ask to borrow it.
Because you get SPF 56123549. Not today, skin cancer!!!
5. Your cheeks are always a cute rosy color.
Mainly because you get a sunburn in the winter, but hey, you rock it!
6. When you’re faking sick people believe you because you’re pale.
Which came in handy in middle school when you wanted to go home before your presentation in the next class so you told your teacher you didn’t feel good and she responded with, "Oh honey, your face is going pale let me write you a pass."
7. You get outdoor spaces all to yourself because you reflect the sun.
Well, when you do go outside anyway. The blinding way the sun reflects your skin is a borderline hazard to those around you, so more room for you!
8. You realize that skin is just a color and it literally does not matter what color that is.
Really. No matter the season. You don’t get why people care so much about getting tan in the summer and freak out when that tan goes away in the winter. It’s literally flesh that covers your insides. We all have it.
