8 Things That Are Only Acceptable To Find True When You're In College
Huffington post

College is a weird time in your life where you're in between a lot of things. In between an adult and a kid, in between being independent and dependent, and in between high school and a career. There's a lot of things that come along with being in college that are only true while you're a college student. Here's 8 things that are only true or acceptable when you're in college.

1. Planning naps into your schedule

This is very much unique to a college student, and something only considered acceptable when youre a college student. I don't know any working adults who have time in their schedule to have naps regularly. I don't know about you, but naps are one thing I will miss when I graduate college.

2. The parking problem

Don't get me wrong. I'm sure plenty of adults deal with parking problems, but their is nothing quite like the crazy campus cops and the impossible parking rules. If you make it through four years of college without a parking ticket, you are a legend.

3. The Free DD

Now this one only applies to girls who go out to frats, but I still remember how mind blown I was when I first got to college and heard about the dd system. Having a dd that's job is to drive you around and does it for free, definitely a college thing.

4. The food

College is the only time in your life when ramen and food from the freezer counts as a solid meal.

5. Over sized t shirts

I think this is a relatively new trend, but college is the only place I know of where girls wear shirts way to big for them in public and its normal.

6. Never feeling completely at home

In college, you have two homes. Your parents house in your hometown and your new home with your college friends, It's this weird in between, and youre always missing someone. When youre at home, you miss your college friends, and when youre at college you miss your family.

7. The pet problem

In college you want a furry friend to come home to, but constantly have to remind yourself you cant be resonsible for another living thing.

8. This is the only time in your life it's completely acceptable to be selfish

After college, you start having a family or your career. You have to start looking out for people other than yourself and putting them first. College is the last years of your life its ok to be selfish. It's a time for finding yourself and putting your needs first. Enjoy it!
