8 Things Kristin Lauria Has Taught Us
Kristin Lauria

I have recently gotten addicted to watching makeup tutorials on YouTube and my top two favorite YouTube artists right now are Kristin Lauria and Jaclyn Hill. They both have unique personalities and I'm a good mix of the two, so I think that's one reason I love both of them very much. I have watched every single one of Kristin Lauria's videos, and here are eight things she has taught us:

1. She's taught us to genuinely love who we are

In her YouTube video 'What's In My Heart | Self Confidence & Long Distance Relationships' she talks about how she has struggled her whole life with the fact that people aren't always going to accept her and some people will have different views than her. She says that this is OK and that she has accepted that. A person who can be OK with society not agreeing with them 24/7 is a person who loves who they are.

2. She's taught us that she's a believer of God

In her video "50 Facts About Me', Kristin Lauria reveals she became a Christian in the fifth grade at Pine Cove Camp. For me, personally, having someone to look up to is important, and it's more important that they are a follower of Christ.

3. She's taught us how to have a funny sense of humor

Kristin Lauria has funny vlogs on her channel like 'What's In My Mouth With My Sister' and 'How Well Does My Mom Know Me?'. I sometimes re-watch these videos just to get a good laugh in.

4. She's taught us how to have a fun relationship

Her and her boyfriend are #precious. They have countless videos of them doing crazy and sweet things. A few of my favorites are 'Guess the Body Part Challenge', 'Boyfriend Guesses Makeup Prices', and 'My Boyfriend Does My Makeup'.

5. She's taught us how to make use of small spaces

In her video 'Room Tour', she shows us just how small her tiny room is. If you watch the video (which I highly recommend) then you will understand why I am saying she's taught us how to make use of small spaces. Her room is hands down one of the cutest rooms I have ever seen!

6. She's taught us to travel while we can

I mean, seriously...How cute is she?! While stalking her Instagram or surfing her YouTube channel, you will see that she loves to travel. She has several YouTube videos of her and Marcus in Canada, and right now she's in Copenhagen. If there's anything other than makeup she's taught me, it's that you should travel while you can.

7. She's taught us how to use affordable makeup

As seen above, she has a video titled 'Drugstore Makeup Look'. This is one of my favorite videos because she is using affordable products that everyone has access to. In almost all of her videos, she uses affordable products. Most YouTube makeup artists don't, and that's all the more reason to love Kristin Lauria!

8. She's taught us to wait for the right person

She's getting married! Of course this is no reason to love someone, but this makes me love her even more as I know she's about to do some serious wedding planning! She's taught us the beauty of waiting for that person God has created for us - whether you find it while you're younger or older. I can't wait to see her vlogs that she will post for the wedding planning and actual wedding! *to watch her vlog on the engagement, click this link .

I'm telling y'all, this girl is something else. If you don't already watch her YouTube channel (Kristin Lauria), follow her on Instagram (@kristinlauria) or follow her on Snapchat (kristinlauria12) then you're missing out. You're gonna find yourself stalking her into the wee hours of the morning once you watch one vlog or stalk a few pictures. Do it, though, you won't regret it!

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

school
blogspot

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
