1. How the Hospital Began

Founder of the hospital Danny Thomas was struggling for money. He prayed to St. Jude in hopes of fortune to help his family, with the promise to honor St. Jude if his prayers were answered. Fortunately Thomas' prayers came true and he was able to honor St. Jude in an incredible way!

2. Patients Never Pay a Bill

It's true! St. Jude patients and families are never asked to pay a bill for their time and treatment at the hospital!

3. The Staff Will Sing a Song For Cured Patients

"Pack your bags, get out the door, you don't need chemo anymore!" What a sweet way to celebrate!

4. They Have a Room Specifically for Teen Patients

The hospital has a room designated for teens only to give their patients a more normal teenage experience. The room has games, TV's and more!

5. The Cost to Run the Hospital

According to stjude.org, it costs approximately 2.2 million dollars a day to run the hospital, a majority of which comes from public donations!

6. Their Partners

The list of St. Jude sponsors is enormous! Popular sponsors include, Best Buy, Chilies and Target.

7. The Amount of Patients They Care For

On a busy day St. Jude can treat up to 260 patients at once!

8. They Have An International Outreach Program

The hospital has implemented an International Outreach Program with the hopes of assisting children worldwide.

"So, usually I would never go on a Tinder date but when you are out with girlfriends and a hot Bosnian guy says he wants to hang with you and his friends, you oblige. We head to their apartment and when I realized I may pee my pants if I don't find a bathroom soon. I ask for the bathroom and a friend of my tinder date shows me to it and said in all seriousness that I was not allowed to flush the toilet under ANY circumstances.
