1. Baleadas
No other country has this mix of flour tortilla, beans, egg, sausage, platains and hot sauce.
2. Utila
Utila is a very small island, only around 17 square miles, located about 25 miles off of Honduras’s Caribbean coast. It is best known for its diving and of course... Dr. John Mckay.
3. Copan Ruinas
"The town of Copán Ruinas, often simply called Copán, is a beautiful place, paved with cobblestones and lined with white adobe buildings with red-tiled roofs. It's also one of the most charming and traveler-oriented places in Honduras, with a friendly local population, widely spoken English and some great hotels and restaurants. Many people come here just to see the famous nearby Maya ruins, but with plenty of other attractions in the town and nearby, there's reason enough to linger."
4. Pollo Chuco
When ever you visit Honduras, you can't leave home without tasting the famously "Pollo Chuco" , fried chicken, with fried green slices and cabbage and "tajadas" with a special sauce you won't be able to resist!

6. BEERPart of going to any country is trying their local specialties and beverages. For me, that means beer. Honduran is well known for this and believe me, you won't regret the hangover after a couple of Barenas.
7. Roatan"Surrounded by the second largest coral reef in the world, the island is a popular spot amongst divers. Each week charter flights bring in groups from Canada and Italy, amongst many other countries, to enjoy the turquoise blue warm waters of the Caribbean which is home to diverse marine fauna and flora.
The entire 33-mile island is surrounded by a shallow reef, with several diving spots offering a spectacular view of thousands of marine creatures for both experienced and novice divers. The reefs begin in as little as 20 to 40 feet with delightful drop offs up to 100+ feet. The pristine dive sites offer many drop offs, canyons and the Caribbean’s largest variety of coral and sponges. Locals and visitors who dive here say it’s the most relaxing and therapeutic thing to do. Being deep under the sea calms you down, regulates your breathing and transports you into a different world."
