8 Things Everyone Experiences While Riding Muni

For everyone living in San Francisco, and who takes the Muni. You sometimes know the struggle all too well. Here are a list of eight things that everyone experiences at least once while riding Muni.

1.When you first get on the bus and you are trying to pick the perfect seat fast enough before the bus driver steps on the gas.

2.When there is mystery liquid on the seat and you wonder who sat there before you, and if you should sit on any seat ever again...

3. When an old person gets on the bus, and a million thoughts rush through your head like, "Is that person old enough they are gonna want to sit? Do they want my seat? Would I insult them if I asked if they wanted my seat? Do I even ask, or should I just get up?"

4. Someone you kind of know gets on the bus, but you aren't sure if you know them well enough to say anything or not. So you just keep your head down and don't make eye contact, even though they definitely saw you...

5. When you step on the bus and it is too crowded to sit. And better yet all the handles and bars to hold on to are taken.

6. When you see a spot opens up and you want to be the first to sit down before anyone else does, but play it casual how excited you are..

7.When you forgot your bus pass, but realize it once you are on the bus and just hoping that a Muni police doesn't get on.

8. When you finally make it to your stop and step off the bus with that feeling of accomplishment because you survived another Muni ride.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

107
Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
