If you have a college student in your life, you might be wondering what to get them for Christmas. These are a few ideas if you were wondering. Sometimes it is hard to tell family and friends what we really want, though we aren't asking for much. Trust me college students are not asking for much, but here are a few things every college student wants for Christmas.

1. To pay for our college tuition.

Should I have to explain this one? College is expensive. I cannot begin to describe how much money it is. Any help towards paying for it is fine by us. It seems to be going up and up every year and it just kills us a little when we think about how much it is going to be. I mean after loans and everything we get from the college, having someone help is totally worth it, since I mean you will get to see us walk across the stage at the end.

2. Money for college books.

I cannot even think about books without stress. They are expensive. Really expensive. Just give us money for them and we will be content. The price of books though keep going up and up and the more we think about what they cost, the more we die inside. It is not easy paying for those books that we might not even open.

3. Free restaurant gift cards.

Free food. We are so okay with free food. Free money for food. Just food in general that we don't have to pay for. School food sucks. Badly. Having the same food day in and day out, it gets old after a while. Plus food gift cards are the best especially if we are up late studying and want food, you will have given us the best gift in the world. Late night food run we don't have to pay for.

4. Laundry money

It can add up. Free money to do laundry the more we can do it. There are times where the laundry piles up more and more and we just don't want to have to pay so much money every time to do it. So if you are willing to give us money to pay for it, we will thank you forever.

5. Gas money.

Gas can be expensive. It would be nice to have free gas. Especially since we are broke college students who can't always pay for our own gas.

6. Cash

I don't even have to explain why on this one.

7. Sleep.

We just need all sleep. We are tired. We study, we eat, we do homework, we just want to sleep. This will make us feel so much better in more than one way. And we will not be so grouchy when we are home. Plus we don't have time to sleep much at college.

8. Free food/home cooked meal.

Again, food. Free food. Plus home cooked food is so much better than food at college. Just feed us and let us sleep.

No matter what, just deal with your stressed out college student. We are trying. Life happens and we are just simply asking for things that will make our lives at college easier. Its not to much to ask for.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
