As we all know, a dog is a human's best friend. Let's be real, some of us would prefer our furry companions over people any day, I don't blame you. So here are 10 things all you dog lovers will know to be true.

1. Always asking the question "does anyone have a lint roller?"

Dog hair on everything. It is actually ridiculous the amount of hair you are carrying around with you on a daily basis. Black pants? Don't even think about it.

2. Your reaction to when people ask if you want to see a picture of their kid. "Sure! But... want to see a pic of my dog!?"

Usually, people aren't too impressed but, you're allowed to be a proud mom too!

3. People who prefer cats over dogs.

We will just leave it at that.

4. Watching an ASPCA commercial.

You already know the tears are flowin' right as you hear "in the arms of an angel". God dammit Sarah McLachan, every time.

5. When you see a puppy out in public.

That's right, come to mama.

6. When you treat your dog better than most people treat their kids.

Sorry, not sorry.

7. You have more in common with your dog than actual people.

We just really understand each other. You know what I mean?

8. You'd rather cuddle with your pup over your significant other.

Let's just face it, dogs are better than people.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
