A long distance relationship is one of the biggest tests on a relationship. It is incredibly mentally taxing, and requires a great deal of trust and inner strength. Here are some of the hardest moments:

1. The Moment That Something New Happens in Your Life, They Are The First Person You Want to Tell

They are a big part of your life and it hurts sometimes when you know you can turn to them and tell them right away.

2. When You Hear Your Phone Ring, or Receive a Text You Hope to See Their Name

Not often can you talk to this person but when you do get the chance its all you look forward to.

3. Saying Goodbye

the hardest part is saying goodbye again, after not seeing them for weeks or months before that.

4. Different Schedules

Communication becomes very difficult and time consuming when sometimes availability isn't always possible.

5. Seeing Other Couples Together

You begin to start feeling jealous when you see other couples happy together all the time, making you miss your significant other even more.

6. Arguing

Most of the time your arguments will revolve around communication due to the fact that you can't know everything that the other is doing since they are not with you everyday.

7. Having Different Needs

As time goes on while you and your partner are away from each other you start to learn more about yourself and may have new needs or wants from the relationship

8. Missing Each Other

You are bound to miss each other every hour of everyday, but in the end you know the pain is worth fighting for.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
