College is great, but summer is better. Everyone can use a three-month break, but over the course of those three months, college students go through eight definite stages:
1. Exhaustion: finals took everything you had.
2. Slight panic: do you really not have anything to do??!
3. Excitement: school is over and it's time to relax!
4. Separation anxiety: you realize that your friends are hours away and you probably won't see them for three months
5. Unrest: you're not used to this lazy lifestyle, so you have to fill the void with countless activities.
6. Boredom: OK, you're ready to go back and live it up with your friends
7. Sadness: Summer is almost over...school and responsibilities are quickly approaching
8. Acceptance: Summer was great (the break was definitely needed), but now you get to go back to your favorite place and favorite people
Summer really is the best, but nothing beats time spent with your friends at school.
