8 Signs You're Addicted to Starbucks

Oh Starbs, where would I be without you? Morning (especially 8:00 AM) classes couldn't be done without the help of your "triple shot on ice." I know I am not the only one with this thought. If you find yourself not just craving Starbucks but thinking you need it to get through your day or to get the second half of your day started you may be suffering from Starbucks Addiction like me. Not sure if you are? Take a look and see if you relate to any of these eight signs of addiction below:

1. When you say you want coffee you really mean you want Starbucks.

Not all coffee is the same and it's Starbucks' coffee you are really wanting.

2. Your regular Starbucks knows not only your name but also your drink order.

They know you so well that they get confused when you change up the order. They probably also know your holiday drink orders.

3. You obviously have a Gold card or are working on attaining one.

This card is my prized possession. I feel special when I hand them that sparkling, gold card with my name on it.

4. You have the App and keep up with your points on a daily basis.

Not only do you keep up with the points but you also do any challenge they offer to earn extra points.

5. You get overly excited for PSL.

Why would you get this drink anywhere else? Starbs was the original and will always be the best.

6. You know how to get some holiday drinks all year round.

Peppermint Mocha Frappuchino: Coffee Frappuchino with a pump of peppermint and a pump of mocha.

You're welcome.

7. Getting Starbucks has become a normal, daily activity.

You don't even notice it's now an addiction because its become part of your routine.

8. This article and cover photo made you want to go get Starbucks.

Don't lie to yourself, those Frappuchinos look fantastic.

Welcome to the Starbucks Addiction life.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
