Sometimes everyone needs a little help and encouragement, and what better place to get those words than from the Word of God? None, in my opinion. Here are a few scriptures to remind yourself of and to speak and pray over yourself or anyone in your life.
1. 2 Timothy 1:7
This is my all-time favorite scripture. When I was little and scared of the dark my dad would tell me to speak this verse over myself, and even today when I feel afraid I repeat these words over to myself and feel encouraged.
2. Psalm 119:34![](data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20752%201334'%3E%3C/svg%3E)
3. 1 Peter 3:3-4 ![](data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20564%20705'%3E%3C/svg%3E)
4. Proverbs 15:1
This is a good one to remind yourself of when you're really feeling like telling that certain person off. I should probably remind myself of this scripture a little more.
5. Ephesians 4:29 ![](data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20564%20846'%3E%3C/svg%3E)
6. Psalm 46:1
This is a really nice reminder that God is always present even when we don't feel Him.
7. Proverbs 11:16 ![](data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20829%20466'%3E%3C/svg%3E)
8. Colossians 3:17
This is one of the most important, in my opinion.
9. Proverbs 16:9
This is a great reminder when we're wondering what our next step should be. God reminds us that it is alright for us to make a plan, but we must leave room for Him to guide us.
10. Romans 12:9-10
11. Psalm 91:14
12. Ephesians 4:2
There are countless scriptures in the Bible to help you through any situation. These are a few of my favorites. I hope you can be encouraged by them.
