1. You get to keep learning
Learn about politics, science, the world, pick up a minor you love even if it does not make you employable post-college. You keep learning about relationships, people, yourself especially- because you should never stop learning about yourself. In college you are like a sponge, just taking in everything around you.
2. You get to experiment
Try new things, take up random hobbies, date someone that isn't your type... and it's acceptable. No, it's expected, because well post-graduate life you have to adult real time.
3. You get to nap.
Nap time doesn't exist in the real world, unless you work end up working for Google, friends. And from what I hear those pods are almost always empty during the day.
4. Free time
Think about all that time you waste away — that's your free time. Appreciate it.
5. Binge watching TV
You barely have time to answer texts, much less sit down with a pile of junk food (you won't always be able to afford to eat that you know) and watch an entire season of "How I Met Your Mother" in a day.
6. The element of spontaneity
Sometimes people (college kids themselves) overlook this. But college is always unpredictable, you never know where you will end up sometimes. Random trips to the bars, or a beach to watch the sunrise, or library just cause you ran into some friends on their way and you know you should just go.
7. Ability to sleep late
Even as a tax paying member of society — you can't sleep in after college. Enjoy those days, because even when you can sleep in, you physically can't.
8. You're whole world is few miles radius of your college campus
All you friends, exams, professors — everything is right there. Don't take that accessibility for granted because all those people won't be living in the same city post graduation. It's a wonderful thing to just send a text and a few minutes later see your friend for late lunch or catch up with a friend from study abroad when he is just chilling outside on the lawn. Know it's so much harder to stay in touch after college.
Live college to the fullest. Don’t stress about anything; just do what you have to do and enjoy it! You have responsibilities, yes to get good grades and such, but have fun too — leave with no regrets. Because you won't be going back after four years. I just left and I already miss it.
