".....whenever life gets hard, you need to "just keep swimming"....."

Ever since I was a little girl, Disney has had a major influence on the way I live my life. Not only has Disney taught me to follow my dreams, but it has opened my eyes to all of the "magic", or beautiful things, that God has placed in our world. Every girl has a little bit of Disney in them. Here are eight reasons why dating a Disney girl will change your life for the better.

1.) We always ask if we can go to Disney

It is completely normal for a Disney girl to ask to go on Disney dates........ten times a day.....everyday......yeah, that's completely normal for us. We also know everything there is to know about the Disney parks including secret entrances, shortcuts, and the best places to eat. We also know where all of the characters are and when they will be appearing to the public.

2.) We sing.....all the time!

Yeah.....you're life is going to become a Disney movie, but that's a amazing thing! Everywhere we go, we will start singing songs about everything you do to the tunes of our favorite Disney songs. If you don't think that is exciting, then you are truly missing out!

3.) We can bring out even the deepest of emotions

Because Disney runs through our veins, we can certainly take you on an emotional roller-coaster. Disney girls will make you laugh one second, but then cry many tears of joy the next second. So strap yourself in because you're in for one amazingly, wild ride.

4.) We melt whenever you call us your "princess"

Yes, being called a "princess" is a truly magical thing. Disney girls love pet names like that.

5.) We know how to be romantic

Since we grew up watching Disney movies, we may or may not be completely enthralled with the romantic actions of our favorite Disney characters......but hey, this is definitely one of the best things to ever happen to our relationship!

6.) Disney quotes are a part of our everyday vocabulary and we always give great advice

There will not be a single moment where a Disney girl will not throw in a clever Disney quote during her conversations. We always have a special Disney quote for every occasion. Disney girls know that whenever life gets hard, you need to "just keep swimming" (Dory) and that "it never hurts to keep looking for sunshine" (Eeyore).

7.) You will ALWAYS be our Prince Charming

Yes, it's true. Whether you like it or not, we will always call you our Prince Charming. You may not be able to slay dragons for us or break a curse with your kiss, you will always be the "knight in shining armor" in our eyes.

8.) We believe in happy endings

Although our "Fairy Godmothers" are not going to just appear out of nowhere and solve all of our problems, we firmly believe that everything will turn out alright in the end. There's nothing wrong with that. All it takes is just a "little faith, trust, and pixie dust" (Peter Pan).

Dating a Disney girl is never boring. We are always out looking for our next adventure and making sure that we leave a little sparkle wherever we go. We always know how to cheer you up and can give some killer advice to you when you need it. You may not thinks so now, but dating a Disney girl will truly be the best decision that you have ever made!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
