By now, I’m sure you’ve heard that Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have teamed up for The Future Now national tour and it is NOT one to be missed. Whether you are a 20-something fan since their Disney days (ahem, guilty) or a fan of their newest hits like “Cool for the Summer” and “Jealous,” you need to get tickets for this one-of-a-kind show ASAP. In case you have yet to find your wallet and log onto Ticketmaster, here are eight reasons why this concert needs to be at the top of your summer ’16 to-do list.

1. Demi's Voice

Demi Lovato has proven over the past several years that her voice is pure, undeniable talent. She is one of the most genuine artists, sharing each of her trials and triumphs with her fans in an effort to strengthen them, as music has done for her. She pours her heart and soul into each song for a live performance that will leave you with chills. One word, QUEEN.

2. Nick's Voice

Nick Jonas has shed his signature curly ‘do and jazzed up his musical repertoire in an effort to show that he has grown from Disney hit to musical heartthrob. If the “swag” of Nick J. is not enough to interest you in a seat at the show nearest you, his voice should do more than convince you. Nick Jonas has an amazing voice that will turn even the skeptical into true fans in no time. A live performance by Nick Jonas will make you a fan for life.

3. Their Friendship

Nick and Demi might just be the cutest best friends since Monica and Chandler. They have been in each other’s lives for years now and their bond has only grown stronger with time. The “Camp Rock” days have come and gone, but seeing them on stage together shows that whether they are 13 years old or 23, they will always be there for each other. The love they share may not blossom into romance like Monica and Chandler, but only time will tell.

4. The Nostalgic Reunion

The “Camp Rock” Tour swept the nation back in 2010, with Demi sharing the stage with all three of the JoBros. The classic pop songs of our youth filled each venue as they promoted the Disney Channel Original Movie. Although we have all grown and matured from the days of playing air guitar to “we rock, we rock, CAMP ROCK,” it is impossible to not feel a twinge of nostalgia seeing Demi and Nick share the stage six years later. Just wait until Nick reclaims his position of Demi’s pianist while she sings one of her newest hits. Not a dry eye in the house.

5. The Songs

I know, I know. “Cool for the Summer” and “Jealous” have been played on every radio station and Spotify playlist for months. But those songs don’t even scratch the surface of this incredible set list. Are you a fan of Demi’s old-school ballads like “Skyscraper” or her new hit “Stone Cold?” Have you listened to Nick’s new album, “Last Year Was Complicated?” Trust me, there is a song for everyone at this concert. Get ready to shout the lyrics to your old faves, while making a list of new songs to add to your “Car Jams” playlist.

6. The Merch

Start saving your money now for the merchandise sold on this tour. Whether you want a classic Demi and Nick concert tee or to splurge on a new Demi Lovato sweat suit (yes, it’s a thing), the merch table is the hot spot to be before the show. Get into the venue early and bring your wallet, you can’t put a price on memories. Right? Right.

7. The Show

This show is the quintessential concert experience that leaves you with no voice and a feeling of pure joy. If you are looking for a concert that will please all your friends, remind you of your youth and keep you dancing all night long, look no further. This show will turn a warm summer night into an experience you will always remember. Fire literally falls from the sky as Demi makes her entrance. Enough said.

8. The Memories

So many of us have followed Demi and Nick’s journey through music for years. And even if you are new to the crowd, you will quickly see how this duo can be loved by so many. Concerts bring people together. No matter who you are, where you’re from or how old you are, your love and appreciation for music has brought you all to the same place for just a few hours. The happiness that a concert brings to so many people leaves memories that will last a lifetime.

The Future Now Tour is everything that I hoped it would be and more. This concert is a must see for old and new fans alike. Whether you are 12 or 21, these artists have meant so much to us for years. And from the talent displayed on that stage every night, this is only the beginning.

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

To My Loving Boyfriend,

  • Thank you for all that you do for me
  • Thank you for working through disagreements with me
  • Thank you for always supporting me
  • I appreciate you more than words can express
  • You have helped me grow and become a better person
  • I can't wait to see where life takes us next
  • I promise to cherish every moment with you
  • Thank you for being my best friend and confidante
  • I love you and everything you do

To start off, here's something I don't say nearly enough: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.

11 Signs You Grew Up In Hauppauge, NY

Because no one ever really leaves.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
