It was only a few years ago that Panthers' fan spent each Sunday in a state of pure fear. There was no way to console the person who put their all into a team that won 1 game all season. But now, we are spending Sundays on cloud nine. We went from winning one game to being almost undefeated. This is our season y’all. #keeppounding.
Here are eight reasons why we love our boys.
1. No matter how long it has been, you will never forget the Super Bowl loss.
32 - 29. We were so close, but that fire only fuels the passion we have for our boys to come back and win it all. And somehow there is still a little (or a lot) of remaining hatred for the Patriots.
2. We overcame the games that were physically painful to watch.
Remember the times we lost yards? Yeah, me too. It was hard for a little while there, but we stuck by the boys and made it through.
3. But times have truly changed, and we straight up killed it this season.
Long gone are the days of being sad for it to be Sunday, we relish in the joy of a nice Sunday afternoon. We rule the day.
4. Now we have a team that loves us and we love them.
Almost as much they love each other. The teams closeness is one that we all love to watch, they love each other and that spreads to all of us.
5. They are goofy, fun, and just genuinely good guys.
It’s fun cheering for a team that you can support both on and off the field. And we can all use some pictures of Luke with adorable children.
6. We can trust them to never let a game get boring.
We aren’t the Cardiac Cats for nothing. Every Panthers' fan knows that having a 31 point lead means nothing. They want to throughly entertain us, and entertain they do.
7. We just made it to our 4th NFC championship game.
It took us 10 years, but we are back and better than ever. One more game and we are in the big game, we've got this boys.
8. Through all the ups and downs, you love these boys till the day you die. Because we bleed blue and black.
We love those boys more than anything else and I’m sure I speak for a whole lot of people when I say that it has been amazing to see them get so much attention and love this season. It has been such a long time since Charlotte has had so much pride in them and I am enjoying every second of their killer season. #keeppounding
