8 Reasons I Like My Show Heifer More Than You

Since I have been old enough, I have had my own show heifers. Automatically, my show heifers have always become my best friends and usually, my heifers rank higher than the people in my life. I don't know how many times I have changed my plans all because of revolving my life around my show heifers. As silly as it sounds, changing my schedule around so I can spend more time with my heifers makes much more sense, because well they're just simply better than people.

1. They don't talk back

I can tell my heifers to stop eating my pants and they'll simply stop; however, if I was to ask someone to do something or stop doing something there would have to be a drawn out argument as to why that this demand was not acceptable.

2. They always think I'm right

Now, more than likely I steer off in the wrong direction and could potentially be wrong, but my heifers never think so. They always believe that I am right in my information and never tries to argue my case. Although, you run into many people that would spend all day proving how you are wrong in some aspect.

3. They don't judge me based on my outfit choices

The amount of dirty looks that I get when I look like I just rolled out of bed is quite large, but my heifers could care less if I brushed my hair for the day or if I'm wearing clothes that smell like the barn.

4. They will let me take an unlimited amount of pictures

Some people don't quite enjoy the amount of pictures that I take, but my show heifers sure do enjoy it when the camera comes out and they can be photogenic.

5. They appreciate all that I do for them

The numerous hours that I spend feeding and spoiling them don't go unnoticed by my show heifers. Sometimes people maybe overlook the amount of effort that is put in by myself. Every once in awhile it is nice to know that you are appreciated for the effort you put forth.

6. They don't interrupt when I ramble on to them

Many life decisions, bad days, exciting moments. I can have a thousand conversations with my show heifers and they won't ever nudge me to stop, they'll just lay their heads on my arm and just listen. On the other hand, I can have a thousand conversations with people and they begin to interrupt and believe that what they have to say is so much more important than me finishing what I was saying.

7. They don't complain about my singing

The radio gets turned way up and so does my voice because when you find that song you enjoy you just have to sing along. Where some people may complain about me not being on key and such, my show heifers think that my singing is half decent.

8. Or my dancing

You know, sometimes they'll even dance with me whereas anybody else would just walk away and shake their head

So, if you ever ask me to do something with you and I say, "No, I have things to do with my show heifer" don't be alarmed, I just like my show heifers more than you.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
