Whenever I’m craving Chick-fil-A breakfast, I either have to live without it or make a long trip to get it. The town of Grayson has been wanting the franchise to open a new location here for years. When our Taco Bell/Long John Silver’s (now KFC) caught fire years ago, people took to Facebook asking it to be replaced with a Chick-fil-a. I’ve decided to list a few reasons why the city of Grayson deserves a Chick-fil-A.
1. The closest two are far away.
The two nearest Chick-fil-A's are in Loganville and Snellville. For each location, it’s about a 15 to 20 minute drive-- that's a long way for a chicken sandwich.
2. The other two get really crowded.
Because people in Grayson have to go to these other two locations, they get really crowded.
3. There are already 3 locations on 78.
If people are wondering if there might be too many existing for Grayson to get one, you need a reminder that there are three on highway 78.
4. We already have a Zaxby's, so there’s a need for chicken.
We love Zaxby’s in Grayson, but a Chick-fil-A would be heaven.
5. Plus, the others also have nearby Zaxby's.
There always seems to be a Zaxby’s and a Chick-fil-A in the same area, so we know it’s possible. Scenic highway just opened up a new Zaxby’s, so Grayson should get a Chick-fil-A.
6. It will offer jobs to the many people in the town.
In this competitive job market, we could always usd more jobs for the area. This restaurant would be perfect.
7. There’s plenty of space for one.
If we have enough room to build several assisted living homes, then we have enough room for a Chick-fil-A.
8. Because we want it.
This one is self-explanatory. Why do we want a Chick-fil-A? We just do.
