First off, if you have not seen Bob's Burgers yet, stop what you're doing and go get your life together. This show is amazing simply because of the fact the Belcher family is socially awkward and completely honest at the same time. Here's why this family relates to all of us.

1. Gayle knows to trust her gut instincts. Or more importantly her cat's instincts.

We are always taught to follow what our gut is telling us and as we get older we realize that animals have great intuition about things as well. I know Gayle is not technically a Belcher, but she has only deepened our love of cat's and given us a greater appreciation for the knowledge they have to give us.

2. A drink can make most any situation better and no one emulates this better than Linda.

Alcohol is never abused in this show, but we do learn that it can add some zest to our daily routines.

3. Everyone's love life is awkward, but when you find right person everything is worth it.

Bob and Linda prove time after time that, no matter how quirky you may be someone out there will love every part of your being. Love is never a part of your life that you should hide who you truly are. If you are honest about what makes you unique, someone is bound to fall in love with every part of your personality.

4. Tina understands the importance of coffee.

Let's be honest, we have all been there, at the point of pure exhaustion, thankfully we know the our trust best friend, coffee, is there to serve as a perfect pick me up. Even though I doubt I will ever be a coffee addict like Tina, I can't say that I have a limit to my love of this caffeine filled drink.

5. The Belcher children are big on enjoying the little things in life.

Enjoy things in life while you have the time and energy to. Whether that means taking an interesting fight dancing class or attaching shrimp to helium balloons, you should always pursue what makes you happy.

6. Male butts are something to be appreciated.

Thank you, Tina Belcher, for deepening my love of the male behind and showing me that it is acceptable to love some extra junk in the trunk.

7. In moments of selfishness and pettiness we try not to overreact, but like Gene we are all flawed.

Even though it is hard to remember at time, there are problems out there bigger than ours and we could have it a lot worse off. Don't follow in Gene's footsteps and become self-absorbed when problems strike.

8. Things change faster than they may seem, so pay attention to the world around you.

Life moves faster than you think so be sure to take a minute to look at the world around you before everything changes.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
