It's that time of year again. The excitement of Christmas and the New Year is over and now starts a college student's least favorite time: spring semester. I personally think spring semester is the absolute worst and here's why.

1. Money is starting to run out

2. Football season is over

3. No breaks to look forward to

4. ... Which means missing your family

5. It seems like it's dark outside more than it's light

6. The weather is brutal

7. Seasonal affective disorder is real

8. Goodbyes

I definitely think spring semester is not nearly as fun as fall semester and is quite depressing, but summer is just on the horizon!

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
