Instead of heading south to the beaches with a big group of friends this year, my best friend and I decided to do a mini vacation with just the 2 of us. We planned it out ourselves while sticking to a budget, hit the road, and had the time of our lives. Here are 8 reasons to consider hitting the road with your bestie next break:

1. It's all about you two.

No need to compromise with 8 other people or not getting to do what you wanted.

2. Traveling in small numbers is always easier.

Especially when you're on a budget! Plus, you only need a room with 1 bed cause there's no one better to snuggle up with

3. You always have the best (or worst) ideas when you're together.

But they always make great stories!

4. You have someone to talk to 24/7.

You're literally joined at the hip for the whole week.

5. There's no drama.

You guys get along better than anyone else and you don't fight over the small stuff.

6. You'll never stop laughing.

Seriously, you'll have stomach cramps for days from all that laughing.

7. No matter where you go, you'll make it fun.

The beach was freezing when my bestie and I went but that didn't stop us from having a blast.

8. You'll create new memories to pile on top of the millions you already have.

If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
