8 Reasons Why The Polar Express Is The Ultimate Christmas Movie

Every Christmas season since we have owned the DVD, we have watched the Polar Express. To me, other Christmas movies pale in comparison to this spectacular movie.


Here are a few reasons why:

1. There is a whole song dedicated to the best thing in the world: hot chocolate.

2. It encourages you to simply believe.

3. We get to see Tom Hanks...in six different roles.

He is the voice and does the motions of the Conductor, Santa Claus, Scrooge, the Father, and the Hobo, and does the motions for the boy.

4. It keeps you on your toes the whole time.

5. SANTA CLAUS!!!!!

6. It makes you feel like you are going along for the ride.

7. It shows us all how to be a friend to everyone.

8. It makes you feel like a kid again.

The Polar Express is simply and wonderfully made.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area.
