They all stink, really.

8 Reasons None Of The Candidates Should Become President

As we all (should) know, the 2016 presidential election is quickly approaching, and it has been headlining the news often. To me, though, it seems as if this presidential election has been in the news since the last one ended. I don't know about you, but I've heard the name "Donald Trump" in the news a few too many times. But that's not the point of this article.

With everything that's been happening in our country lately regarding gun violence, on top of many other things, this election is obviously extremely important. It's important to pay attention to these things when forming opinions on presidential candidates. Whoever comes into presidency will have the opportunity to essentially "fix" our nation. And from my point of view, everyone inside (and probably outside) our country expects them to do so. In my opinion, that's not possible. I don't think anyone can fix this constantly deteriorating country. But we have to do something in order to help.

When scanning through our presidential candidates, none of them seem to stick out to me as someone who I could see (or want to see) running our country. In fact, they all seem like extremely horrible choices. There are various reasons why, and I made a list of reasons why through various quotes and actions the presidential candidates have said and done themselves. If you know me, you know that I'm not the most educated when it comes to politics. With that being said, if I can see that none of these candidates are good because of very surface level things and ideas, I think that demonstrates just how obviously horrible they all are.

1. Donald Trump advocates for violence.

Oh, perfect, just what I want! A president who promotes war.

2. All of the candidates talk badly about their opponents.

Oh, we also need a president who bad mouths others. I understand they're trying to prove a point, but are we in high school?

3. Donald Trump is, well, Donald Trump.

I'm really happy to know that even if our country crumbles with Donald Trump as president, at least he'll still be super rich. Also, he's extremely conceited.

3. Hillary Clinton doesn't even know what she believes.

I definitely want a president who contradicts herself, too!

4. All of the candidates have dumb campaign slogans.

The campaign slogans. Is this really necessary?

5. All of the candidates have ideas that are extremely unrealistic.

Are these ideas actually realistic and logical to people?

6. Donald Trump is Donald Trump, yet again.

Not necessarily important, but some of them obviously have terrible hair.

8. I think you get the idea.

This one speaks for itself.

If you didn't catch on, I don't really want any of these people running the country that I live in.

Unrelated topic: I hope I'm not the only person in America who realizes if we spent all the money wasted on each of these presidential campaigns on something that could actually better our nation, our country could be in a much better place right now.

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.

If you’re anything like me, you love a good cup of coffee. My coffee always comes from Starbucks; I refuse to drink it from anywhere else. Over the years, it’s become one of my biggest addictions. College involves a whirlwind of emotions, whether it’s from the stress of an assignment (or twenty), or from fighting with your roommate.
