8 Reasons Living With Your Best Friends Is The Best Idea You'll Have

You won't actually end up hating each other by the end of it like everyone says.

Many people say don’t live with your best friends because you'll end up wanting to never see each other again. I completely disagree, moving in with my best friends was the best decision I could’ve made. They are my hypemen, support, and family, and I couldn't imagine living with anyone else.

1. They support you no matter what

I am constantly banging on my roommates’ doors to get advice. Somehow, even if what I decide to do is the complete opposite of what they said, they will still support me. Now, maybe this is a bad thing if they support some of my more risky decisions, but ultimately, I know these ladies have my back.

2. You can get ready together

Imagine not only having one closet full of clothes and shoes, but three. It is an absolute dream. Living with my best friends has led to an infinite amount of outfit possibilities, and there is always someone around to help you pick out the perfect outfit.

3. You make the most amazing memories

Binge-watching Netflix, cooking our first meal together, trying to cope with the upstairs neighbors (who don't know how to be quiet), and so much more. Living with your besties makes you remember the hilarious inside jokes, mishaps, and embarrassing stories. But the good news is you get to make even more when you live together. I swear we never stop laughing.

4. It's the ultimate slumber party

Living with your best friends is like a constant slumber party. Binge watching rom coms or scary movies while pigging out on pizza and ice cream is by far my favorite thing...what more could you possibly need? Plus, having someone to constantly gossip with is just a bonus.

5. You learn to appreciate each other even more

You will learn to appreciate each other more than you could ever imagine. It's the little things, like coming home from class and your bestie has already made dinner because she knew you were gonna be tired. Or maybe your roommate brings you your binder at nine in the morning because you forgot it at home and they don’t have class until one.

6. You have a shoulder to cry on when needed

College is rough and sometimes we all need to cry it out. I know that I can have a breakdown and my roomies will immediately try and make me feel better. School, life and everything else gets hard—don't go through it alone.

7. You learn a LOT about each other

I have learned many things I wanted to know and many that I didn’t need to know about my best friends by living with them. But all these weird and funny quirks that they have make me love them that much more (I’m sure they think I’m just as crazy as they are).

8. You hold each other accountable

One thing that I love about living with my best friends is that they keep me on track. If I’m procrastinating, or vice versa, we call each other out to get it done. Sundays are homework days and we all sit together at the table blasting random throwbacks, having dance parties, all while managing to finish our homework.

Ultimately, living with my best friends couldn’t be more fun. I know that they will always push me to be the best version of myself and have my back. So why not take a chance and room with your bestie? It might be the best decision you ever make.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
