If you're a fan of New Girl you know that you probably can't even keep track of how many times you thought to yourself "I really wish I was as cool as Jess." Well, maybe cool isn't the right word but we all know there's something about Jess that makes you keep pressing "next episode" way too many times in a row! Incase you hadn't figured it out already, here are the 8 reasons why Jessica Day is your spirit animal:

1. Living with 3 ride or dies…that are all guys

We all secretly wish that we could casually live with 3 completely off the wall guys who are constantly charming you with their personality, while simultaneously getting under your skin with their annoyance. But the main attraction is: who doesn’t want 3 built in brothers who aren’t even your real siblings

2. Her (not so) low-key deep mutual love with Nick

If you’re not team Jess and Nick, you’re clearly not doing it right. Everyone knows the main reason you want to be Jess is because of her casually adorable yet completely upside down relationship with Nick Miller. Something about Nick is completely irresistible in the most unrecognizable way it almost drives you crazy!

3. Her passion for teaching

Jess’s unconditional love for teaching is oddly inspiring. She puts her whole heart into it, and would never consider doing anything else…well maybe she tried once or twice in desperate times. But, we all knew her attempt to be a shot girl wasn’t going to work out, and she’d be back to teaching in no time! We can only hope we have a job one day that we love as much as Jess loves teaching.

4. Her odd, yet perfect sense of style

Most of us probably wouldn’t label Jess’s outfits as our go-to, or even something we would ever wear. But something about the way she rocks it every single time makes us for some unknown reason wish we could do the same. Whether it is the glasses, the perfect messy bun, the patterned skirts or colorful shirts, something makes you wish you could look as good as she does.

5. Her unfiltered comments

Many of us (but definitely not all) think about what we’re going to say before we say it. Well, Jessica Day definitely falls into the “definitely not all” category on this one. Whether she’s sitting at the bar and announces practically the weirdest thing you’ve ever heard, or shares a totally crazy thought with Nick, something makes you wish you could be so careless in your conversations with even a stranger.

6. Her Best Friend

Who doesn’t want a bar tending, model, yet totally down to earth, crazy best friend? Yeah we all love our best friends, but secretly envy Jess for having Cece: the coolest, loyalist one of all!

7. You don’t know why, but you want to live with Schmidt

Schmidt. We all know one. The most annoying, obnoxious, yet charming and lovable guy around. Something about living in the same loft as him seems completely repulsive, yet like the most fun you’d ever have with a roommate. We don’t know why, but we all want that weird Jess & Schmidt relationship, don’t we? I couldn’t even begin to tell you why, but we definitely, definitely do.

8. You really want (need) to date Ryan

Who cares if he eventually ditches you from across the globe? We all need one chance with our British accent, dream man! Everything about Ryan is completely perfect, as Jess never fails to make obvious. But then again, we all kind of hate him because he’s just wasting precious time that Nick and Jess could spend together!

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
