Mom, a three letter word that explains the most important person in your life. Moms are your go-to for pretty much everything. Mothers deserve the best because they are the best. Mothers deserve to be celebrated every day, because honestly, where would we be without them? Listed below are eight reasons why everyone needs a mom.

1. Mother always knows best.

You know that age old saying, "Mother knows best?" Well, it is true. As annoying as it is to admit, mothers know everything. Moms know if you're lying, when you're sad, and how to make you feel better. Moms always know the best choice to make, and they definitely are experts on organization. We all hate to admit it, but moms always know better than us. They have the wisdom and experience to know what we are supposed to do, but also they just know. I guess it's their mom powers.

2. They give the best advice.

I don't know about you, but when I need help I go to my mom. My mom consistently gives awesome advice, but not just that, she provides me with comfort too. Moms always know just what to do to fix the situation. They also are the best to go to for approval on anything, especially your significant other.

3. They are amazing huggers.

Sometimes we all just need a hug to make us feel better, but the best person to get that from are our moms. They are the best ones at hugging too. When you're sad and your mom hugs you, you can just let all of the pain out. Mom hugs are magic.

4. She's your best friend.

Or maybe she isn't, but mine is. The best mom is when she can be your best friend and a parent. Friends will come and go, but the friendship from your mom is forever. It is an unspeakable bond that stays with you for the rest of your life and you know how we always make fun of our moms? Well, the older that we get the more we become like them.

5. They love you unconditionally.

You know when you mess up and you think that nothing can fix it? Well, you're wrong. Moms are the ones that fix it. There's been countless times where I've disappointed myself or thought that I would never be able to fix something, but my mom always understood. Moms always understand.

6. They are your biggest fans.

Moms want you to succeed. They push you to be the best you that you can be because they love you. They support you, and are always beyond proud of you in everything you do.

7. They do everything for you.

Moms sacrifice so much just for us. We are the lucky recipients of their unwavering love. They spend countless amounts of money on us and show us indescribable love just because.

8. They never give up on us.

Moms are our biggest supporters. They never give up on us and encourage us to constantly pursue our dreams. Moms want to see us fly.

This post has been dedicated to the most amazing, and beautiful woman I know.

Theresa Arndt, I love you!

Happy Mother's Day! I feel so fortunate to have you in my life and I appreciate everything that you do for me.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
