If you have dogs as pets and don't show them off then do you really have them? Some can argue cats are better pets to have, but if you're like me then you know how untrue that is. Dogs make the best pets and the best friends. I have two and take about a hundred pictures of them a day, literally. They're my best friends and I wouldn't trade them for the world. I hope you can agree too.

1. They're the best cuddle buddies.

Need someone to snuggle and watch netflix with? Just call your dogs over! They will keep you warm. Who needs a boyfriend when you have dogs to cuddle with?

2. They're excited to see you at all times.

The best part about coming home is seeing your dogs reaction, no matter if its been 10 minutes or 10 hours. I love when they jump on me and lick my face over and over again like I'm never allowed to leave them again.

3. They make you happy.

This one's an obvious one. Of course, my dogs make me happy. Whenever I'm upset all they have to do is jump on my bed and kiss my face and I already start feeling better.

4. They make you feel like a kid again.

We all catch ourselves speaking to our dogs with high-pitched voices, the only way we ever talk to them. Whenever they wanna play, we can't help but give in to their cuteness. Especially when they come over and put their ball right on our laps. Running around like a maniac with them makes me feel like a kid again (the good days.)

5. They never run out of energy.

Why is it that we get tired out easily while playing with them and they never do? Dogs could play for hours, I swear.

6. They like to eat just as much as you do.

I swear me and my dogs could eat all day.

7. They're your best friend - the one you can always talk to.

I know dogs can't respond (would be cool if they could,) but they're always there to listen to you.

8. They're the cutest!

Just look at that face! Dogs are so cute!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
