It's officially the most wonderful time of the year, everyone!! There's so much to be excited for. Fall may be my favorite season but Christmas is DEFINITELY my favorite holiday. Here's 8 reasons Christmas is the greatest holiday.. ever.
1) Shopping, shopping, shopping
While some hate it, I LOVE shopping for Christmas gifts.. or shopping in general. This is the season that gives me a reason to shop shamelessly for others and myself.
2) Hi friends, hi family!
You're home for the holidays! Everyone is home for the holidays! It's so great be able to gather around and celebrate an amazing time of the year together with the ones you love.
3) No. School. OMG.
Praise God, y'all because we made it! Four months of agony, studying, and crying is over for a whole month! It's such a great feeling to be able to kick back and relax and not stress over any school work.
4) Decorations galore
Everything is so elegant and beautiful. From the Christmas trees to the stockings. It's even better at night when all the lights are turned on. And come on, I can't be the only one who loves driving around just to see how others decorate their homes.
5) Christmas music is officially acceptable.
Yeah, I mean, you could listen to Christmas music anytime of the year (if you want to be judged), but there's never a more perfect time to listen to Christmas music than around Christmas time! I'm listening to my man Michael Bublé as I'm typing.
6)The festivities.
The caroling, church plays, town events. All of it is so enjoyable and gets me so much more in the Christmas spirit.
7) Gifts
Self-explanatory. Who doesn't love gifts, amirite?
8) Jesus!!!
And let's not forget THE MOST important reason for it all, the birth of our Savior, Jesus. We wouldn't be celebrating this holiday without Him. He's the center of it all. I mean, you know what they say: "He's the reason for the season!"
Wishing everyone a merry, merry Christmas! Hope you guys spend lots of time with your families and friends. Extra blessed to be able to celebrate this holiday because of the birth of our King.
