One second I'm watching "Nocturnal Animals," Googling whether or not Jake Gyllenhaal won an award for his performance, and the next I find myself staring at a photo of Jake Gyllenhaal walking a German Shepard.
I'm not sure how I got here, but I'm not complaining.
As it turns out, Gyllenhaal is notorious for his paparazzi shots with his dogs, Boo and Atticus. If it weren't for competitor Tom Hardy, one could easily argue that Gyllenhaal stands out in Hollywood for his love for dogs. Regardless of the competition, these eight photos of Gyllenhaal awkwardly holding puppies and running with Atticus will make anyone's bad day better.
I can't tell who is the focus of this photo, Gyllenhaal all bundled up on a Thanksgiving morning or his cute puppy strolling beside him.
Sure, Jake, that's how you're meant to walk a dog.
This puppy seems just as confused as we are. Very chill, but confused.
I think we can all agree that we're jealous of this dog right now.
Excuse me Mr. Gyllenhaal, but I thought it was dogs that were meant to chew up headphones.
Just telling myself these are family portraits Gyllenhaal had taken of him and his dog Atticus because it makes the context of this black and white photo even more enjoyable.
It's hard to tell who's more excited to be at this event, Gyllenhaal or Atticus.
Such a good doggo, trotting behind his neon colored human without a leash.
