2. Natural Bridge

Natural Bridge is a breath taking park in Virginia. Here, you get to see one of the many wonders of the earth. On the walkway, you can experience breath taking views and pictures. Also located near the park is the Natural Bridge Safari Park, another great attraction to visit!

3. Luray Caverns

Luray Caverns is one of the many cave systems in Virginia. Luray Caverns is one of the most stunning caverns I have ever seen. They also have other activities you can do besides simply exploring the caves. There is a maze, gift shop and more! I definitely recommend taking a trip here this summer.

4. Mount Vernon

Home to our nation's first president, George Washington, Mount Vernon is a great place to visit and learn a little about history! Mount Vernon has been opened since 1758 and holds a lot of important history. Also, it's not too far from the nation's capital: Washington D.C.!

5. Monticello

Thomas Jefferson's Monticello is a great trip for people who seek to learn more about history. Jefferson was one of the best architects and it clearly shows through his plans for his home and his school UVA, located in Charlottesville. There are many other places to visit around Monticello as well. It's a perfect place to stop and tour around this summer!

6. Shenandoah National Park

Virginia has a few national parks, but Shenandoah is by far the prettiest. Within the park, you can hike many different trails that lead you to amazing views. The park looks over the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. A trip here is highly recommended if you want to explore the wonders of nature.

7. Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach is a definite must see. From the beach to the shops and restaurants along the board walk, it is amazing. There are endless things to do and explore. There are mini golf courses, an aquarium, many shops and restaurants, and tons of beaches. A vacation here is perfect for this summer.

8. Chincoteague Island

The beautiful island of Chincoteague, located in Accomack county, is most well known for its wild ponies. These ponies roam along the many beaches. There are even places where you can ride horses down the beach and watch the breath taking sunsets. Plan a trip here if you want to enjoy the beach without the fuss of big resorts and cities!

I hope this gives you a few ideas as you plan your summer endeavors!

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
