8 Movie Best Friends We All Strive To Be Like

Usually when I watch a move, I always look for two people with an inseparable bond. They usually refer to each other as a "best friend." This concept isn't fake. Most of us have one or more best friends we can rely on for anything. Just like in the movies, you and your best friend have been through thick and thin together and you have had more laughs with them than anyone else. In the movies, they usually go through a rough patch but they always come out strong in the end. We all strive to be like some of the best friends in our favorite movies, even if it means quoting their best lines.

Annie & Lillian, "Bridesmaids"

If you have not seen this classic comedy with these two funny ladies, please go watch it immediately. They have been through so much together and no matter who tries to get in their way, they always go back to each other. Sorry Helen!

Jenko & Schmidt, "21 Jump Street"

Not only are these guys hilarious with their crazy schemes and brainless moments, they also happen to be partners in stopping crime. Whether its having to go back to high school to stop a dangerous drug or saving the day on their bikes, they always have each others backs.

Brendan & Dale, "Step Brothers"

In the beginning, Brendan and Dale didn't get along at all. They went from being lonely 40 year old guys still living with their parents. When their parents get married, they are forced to merge and I think we are all grateful that they ended up having a ton in common.

Liv & Emma, "Bride Wars"

When their wedding plans go terribly wrong, they start to plot against each other to make their "special day" as horrific as possible. Yet, after all the pranks and tricks, these best friends will definitely be standing next to each other in any situation.

Cher & Dion, "Clueless"

These 90s queens can almost not be topped. From their unique outfits to their plans to help everyone in their path, they can not be stopped. We all want to be like them but I think we can all only hope.

Ferris & Cameron, "Ferris Buellers Day Off"

Opposites definitely do attract. Ferris can make Cameron do anything and even when he doubts it, it leads to an adventure. This 80s classic proves that having a mischievous other half is the best possible blessing.

Kate & Angie - "Baby Mama"

Okay, I understand this is a different situation. Although Kate did hire Angie to be her surrogate, they ended up becoming the best of friends that brought out the absolute best in one another.

Mike & Ned, "17 Again"

I think we all want a best friend that would be there for us when we were put under a spell that made us go back to a younger age. Ned took Mike in like he was his own son, when in fact, they were the best of friends.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
